Originally constructed in 1996 as a 32' x 72' clearspan workshop, this timber frame was lifted by crane to its new location and transformed for it's new function as an arts center hosting national acts up close and personal in a very beautiful and unique venue. Faced with the challenge to come up with a truss system that could support the heavy timber frame without any center posts, Andy's design got it's strength from the floor to ceiling braces and tension joinery in the rafter to tie-beam posts.
